David Clift is a mathematician, scientist and 21st Century Problem Solver. He is also the Founder of LEAN WORLD, an organization set up to help individuals and communities create value, prosperity and growth; through the adoption of world class ways of working and the intelligent use of technology.
David is a member of the Future 500 network, a select group of leaders from all areas of public life. He is also a writer and presenter, having recently published the book “LEAN WORLD” and presented at international conferences, including the "Frontiers of Lean" Summit, "Transformation 2008" and the prestigious ITU Telecom World Forum, within the "Business Models that Deliver" theme.
He is also a member of numerous networks & groups and a Visiting Fellow in 21st Century Management Practice. David's interests lie in uncovering the DNA of Success® and sharing it with everyone. His expertise lies in strategy and direction setting, policy and best practice, process management and IT.
David has over 17 years experience in the IT sector and prior to founding Lean World was Chief Architect in BT Wholesale's Operations Division, where he was responsible for defining and spearheading their strategic business transformation. David holds a Masters degree in Telecommunications and Information Systems from the University of Essex, as well as a first class honours degree in Physics from the University of Birmingham. |
